The interactive Computer-Based option of the Book-keeping & Accounting distance learning course uses up-to-date technology and replaces many of the study manuals with a disk and your computer screen! Computer-Based learning is faster and suitable for students who have access to a computer.
You now have all the advantages of Computer-based learning at its best. You learn directly from the VDU. You also enter answers onto the screen, which are interactive and automatically checked - with any errors immediately highlighted and the correct answer explained.
An added advantage is that you become more used to using the computer screen for book-keeping and accounting work.
Some study manuals are still used along side this option, and you return regular assignments to Ideal Schools for assessment in the normal way.
On completion of the Interactive computer option you will be trained to the same high standard as those studying the manual-based option.
System Requirements:
- Windows 95 (or later), Minimum 16MB RAM and 25MB free disk space.
Why Choose the Interactive Option ?
- Learning is much faster than traditional training methods and the user has complete control over the speed at which the course material is presented. Research has shown that a time saving of around 40% is possible, without having any impact on the level of knowledge at the end of the course.
- As well as faster learning, you also have the advantage of more convenient learning. You have complete flexibility when you do the course, and how long you spend on each study session. You can go back to any part at any time and easily access any required page in a lesson.
- Most importantly, you get the opportunity to work on many examples, which show the common transactions carried out in every business.
- You get instant feedback and explanations to any mistakes you make so you can immediately correct any errors.
- The text is easy to understand and to follow, and this is proved particularly effective even for those who do not have English as their first language.
