Bookkeeping And Accounting
Bookkeeping is the recording of financial transactions, which include sales, purchases, income and payments by and to individuals and businesses.
The main purpose of bookkeeping is to show the surplus or deficit (profit or loss) of a business at any given period. It should also reveal the assets and liabilities of the business at the same time.
Accounting or Accountancy goes beyond bookkeeping and includes compiling financial information into financial statements for the public’s use in assessing the financial viability of a company.
Our bookkeeping courses at Level 3 (Advanced) are more in the nature of Accounting as at this level we teach you how to prepare Final Accounts for companies including sole trader, limited companies and partnerships.
