The IAB aims;

To offer the advantages of a professional association to all book-keepers who meet the Membership requirements. To afford advice and support to Members, representation of their interests to external bodies, and guarantees for public confidence

To conduct examinations and award qualifications which are recognised and respected worldwide as reliable indicators of competence and integrity.

Examination

Note:
1. Examination fees are payable direct to IAB upon application for each exam.

2. The IAB will allocate you an exam centre for you to attend on the relevant date. For your nearest exam centre please call IAB.

Examination Preparation

Examinations are held twice a year, January and June. The closing dates for registration for these exams are 30^th April and 31^st October. (15 days earlier for overseas students). The IAB provide the examination only, tuition is the responsibility of the student and is provided by Ideal Schools. Our courses are designed to teach you to pass the IAB examinations, at all levels.

Success Rate

Over the past few years the success rates of our students sitting these examinations has been excellent. Indeed, Ideal Schools’ students are regularly among the students with the highest pass marks.

The IAB examination structure consists of four separate Bookkeeping subjects, and we offer the following courses to support the curriculum:

IAB100 Level 1&2 Certificate in Book-keeping
IAB200 Level 3 Diploma in Accounting & Advanced Book-keeping
IAB300 Level 4 Diploma in Accounting to International Standards
IAB400 Level 1, 2, 3
IAB500 Level 1, 2, 3 & 4
IAB600 Levels 1 – 4 plus Sage Computerised Book-keeping
IAB700 Sage Computerised Book-keeping
