"I enrolled on the ICB Career Path in July 2011 and completed my studies, passing all exams including Self-Assessment Diploma to achieve MICB CB Dip PM Dip in October 2012. I've been trading since the January 2012 whilst studying. I'm taking a break at the moment as I’ve built up my practice with 12 clients to date.

"This course is very well run and as an Ideal Schools student I completely endorse the awards they have won for the provision and execution of their courses. The Ideal Schools Level III Manual Bookkeeping course is well structured and well written and thoroughly prepared me well for the exam which I passed with merit. However the most outstanding aspect of Ideal Schools is the support they give their students. Always at the end of the phone, and if not able to help immediately (which is rare) then very quick to phone you back and sort you out. The staff are always friendly and polite and never make you feel stupid for asking! A really nice bunch of people who make the course as much a pleasure as preparing for an exam can be... "I don't think I would have passed with a mark of 100% if it hadn't been for the exceptional quality of support I had from Ideal Schools.
The study manuals are very clear and concise, bearing in mind I had very little knowledge of accounts prior to starting this course, and they guided me methodically through each chapter. Each assignment I submitted was returned promptly and with a note of encouragement from Jo (who marked most of my assignments) which continually built my confidence.
On occasion when I had issue with a concept, I emailed my problem and received a prompt and extremely helpful response from Brian.
I would thoroughly recommend Ideal Schools to anyone considering studying bookkeeping. I'm just finishing Level II Manual Bookkeeping & Accounts with my final examination in the next couple of weeks. If I'm successful I'll be starting Level II Computerised Bookkeeping straight afterwards and hopefully go on to get my Practice Licence.
If I was to give a grade for my courses so far it would definitely be a 5. And who knows, if I do get through all of the above, I'm not sure I'd want to stop"
