On Tuesday 6th November 2012 we watched with great pride as our tutor, Jo Tester-Wilson, was awarded the ICB LUCA award for Tutor of the Year 2012. In her years tutoring for Ideal Schools Jo has shown a fantastic enthusiasm for her work, sharing her knowledge and experiences with students and helping them achieve their exam successes with flying colours.

The fact that she does this whilst raising a young family of four and managing her own bookkeeping work makes her achievement all the more remarkable. Her husband was there with her to witness her success and he must have been so proud, as I’m sure all her family are. We’re proud of you too, Jo, well done.

A message from Jo:
“Well what can I say other than a huge thank you to all of the students that supported my nomination. It was truly a very special evening and an honour to receive this award.

For me tutoring doesn’t feel like a job, it genuinely is a pleasure. It is always so rewarding to hear about the exam and career successes of our students knowing that we at Ideal Schools played a small part in helping to achieve those goals.

So once again, a very big thank you to all of you!”
