This course option is aimed at those who have gained AICB status after completing the 2014 structure of exams for Levels 2 & 3 (B1, B2, B3, BA4, BA5, BA6 & BA7), and have since been upgraded to Full Membership following the launch of the new 2019 exam structure. This means that you have missed out on important knowledge that was included within the 2014 Full Membership structure.

If you are considering continuing your study to any of the modules leading to the ICB Level 4 Diploma in Bookkeeping & Accounting, knowledge from this course is essential. The course would be for information only as you will have been upgraded automatically to Full Member as part of the qualification restructuring. No exams will be required.

This  course , including both manual & computerised bookkeeping elements, covers the adjustments and preparation of final accounts for incorporated businesses or organisations (Limited Companies & Limited Liability Partnerships). 
Practising Limitations:
Where reference is made in the syllabus to preparing final accounts for incorporated businesses, this qualification covers the production of internal management accounts only. Those wishing to prepare sets of accounts for Director’s signature under Financial Reporting Standards (both UK and international) should successfully complete this qualification and then take the Level IV Unit in Financial Reporting.

Entry Requirements: You are required to have completed the study toward AICB (2014-2018) before commencing with this course.

Software requirements: Sage 50 Accounts Essentials
The computerised section of this course is based on the above software and our course fee assumes that you have access to this, or similar. If you have not received appropriate software as part of your Affiliate or Associate Level training we can source this for you at a very reasonable rate.
