Meet the Ambassadors
At IDEAL Schools we strive to create the best bookkeepers in the UK. Bookkeepers who are:
Competent – expertly trained with professional qualifications.
Confident – having a support mechanism to ensure they can operate to a high level.
Comprehensive – offering the widest range of services available to ICB and AAT bookkeepers.
We fully support our students when making the transition to self-employed bookkeeper, providing reassurances every step of the way.
We have hand-picked previous students to act as IDEAL Schools Ambassadors. They have a wealth of knowledge & experience and are willing to share this with YOU. So, whether it's advice on the most appropriate course selection, on a requirement in setting up your practice or on how to deal with a troublesome client, HELP IS ON HAND (this is on top of our Students in Practice Facebook group community, an award winning service).
Click the links below to learn more about our Ambassadors and follow the guidance to instigate contact if you’d like to chat.
Of course, our own support team are here to guide you and we welcome your direct contact.
My whole life changed when I became a Mum to 2 beautiful girls.......
I have been in finance for most of my working life. I began with a BA in Accountancy Studies and then went on to become a fully qualified CIMA management accountant, working in such big name companies as Co-operative Retail Society, Coca Cola Enterprises and Comet.
Michelle and her team were thrilled to scoop the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers LUCA award for Large Practice of the Year
Michelle founded ValueAdd Business Solutions in January 2011 after a 20 year career in professional services. She has extensive knowledge of new start and growing businesses having worked with a broad spectrum of organisations over the years.
Besides tutoring, writing course materials and mentoring students in practice.....
Knowledge and Life Long Learning have always been very important to me. Having three master degrees in various fields of Economics taught me well how to attack new fields of knowledge and quickly turn it into useable skills.

I have a thriving practice with 3 employees and and an office and enjoying helping our growing client base....
My bookkeeping/accountancy journey is perhaps different to most. I decided to retire at the age of 50, as with most that retire at an early age, I was bored soon after.
