ICB Level 4 Certificate in Advanced Bookkeeping & Accounts (MICB)
Easter Offer - Save 15% on fees. See course pages for full details.
Entry Requirements: none
ICB Exams: ABA8 & ABA9
Employment: If practising as a bookkeeper under the ICB umbrella you could complete draft final accounts for limited companies. Your ‘skill-set’ will also enable you to apply employed bookkeeping positions.
The natural follow-on from ICB Level III where you will learn to complete accounts for Limited Liability companies, including shares, dividends and account analysis using accounting ratios.
The practical aspect of the ICB qualification is such that you’ll have the underpinning knowledge of the above areas as well as a full understanding of using a computerised accounting, for the completion of accounts for these business types.
Within this level of study there are two examinations. The first is home based exams and the pass requirement is 85%. The second exam is attempted at one of many available centres (worldwide) and this has a 70% pass requirement (click here to search for your nearest centres). Certification is awarded upon completion of all exams where your level of pass will be determined by the combined scores from each exam:
Distinction with Honours - 195 marks or over
Distinction - 185 – 194 marks
Merit - 170 – 184 marks
Pass - 155 – 169 marks
Our courses have been structured specifically to help you pass these exams. Level IV is available as a single course covering preparation for all relevant exams.
